Revamping Veterans Affairs Choice Program to better engage Veterans in rural areas with resources unavailable over the phone

As Lead UI/UX Designer on the Veterans Affairs Choice Program, I led the design of a user-centered website aimed at helping veterans without access to VA medical facilities quickly find the care and information they need. Through in-depth user research, interviews, and card sorting exercises, I identified key user behaviors and needs—especially for those in rural or underserved areas.
The result was an intuitive, Section 508-compliant site that minimized clicks and maximized accessibility, allowing all veteran user types to easily access critical information. Every design decision was grounded in empathy, data, and the mission to serve those who served us.

Lead Graphic Designer/Sr. Consultant
As a Senior Consultant for WMATA (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority), I led the development of high-level data visualization and analytic dashboards for a $1 billion/year infrastructure contract involving eight Fortune 500 partners. My role was critical in translating massive, complex datasets into clear, actionable one-page visuals that empowered WMATA leadership to make faster, more informed decisions on critical repairs, maintenance, and system upgrades across the D.C. Metro.
Where off-the-shelf tools like Microsoft Power BI fell short, I delivered custom-built graphics and visual frameworks that streamlined reporting and uncovered insights in real time—ensuring operational efficiency at a system-wide scale. My work directly supported WMATA’s mission to modernize one of the busiest transit systems in the country.
FEDSIM
FEDSIM (Federal Systems Integration and Management Center) is a part of the General Services Administration (GSA) that manages large-scale, complex government acquisitions, often for technology, professional services, and systems integration.

Lead Principal Graphic Designer
Federal Systems Integration and Management (FEDSIM) is one of GSA’s most competitive contract vehicles, known for its oral presentation format that opens the door for creativity, innovation, and visual storytelling. As the lead graphic designer, I had the privilege of supporting FEDSIM pursuits at Northrop Grumman, Peraton, and Leidos—three industry leaders in federal contracting. Over the past five years, my design leadership played a key role in securing over $5 billion in FEDSIM proposal wins, combining strategic visuals with compelling narratives that consistently stood out to evaluators.
I lead, conceptualized, designed, and develop the SOP for multiple Fortune 500 companies.
